Good place to buy a Samsung camera Battery Charger?

I just bought the camera, and guess what?! NO CHARGER!!

Yeah, it would be worth a shot. But no, you don’t get the extra battery… you need to read it again.

I would risk using the charger but would never buy a 3rd party battery… I’ve done that a lot of eBay for Canon and Sony products. Most of these batteries come from China. None were good… they didn’t last at all. But I did have good luck buying the “brand name.” For instance I bought the Canon brand battery from a guy in China and it has worked flawlessly.

You can completely ignore these claims of selling you an off brand that is higher amperage. IOW, let’s say your batter is 1.2 Amps… and they will sell one that is 1.5 Amps. They must be playing with the numbers but for the same voltage the 1.5 Amp should last longer but it doesn’t. Never a comparison to the brand name battery.

I wouldn’t worry about the charger, however, the lithium charger is a “smart charger” and it detects when you lithium battery is fully charged and not simply a timer. So there is a little risk if they did the electronics right.
